Rich specializes in narrow gauge and logging content. He has been creating structures, layouts and rolling stock in this subject area since FEB 2003.
Rich’s interest in railroading goes back to the early 70’s as an avid HO modeler and general steam logging fan. He now lives with his wife in the Pacific Northwest in the state of Washington, the hub of early American steam logging. He enjoys mountain biking and rock climbing which are great excuses to get out and do some researching on the local historical railroading grades and logging camps. Rich also volunteers for the Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad where he frequently gets to play with (read clean and scrub) the prototype steam locomotives and equipment.
Rich is a Senior Chief Avionics Technician for the US Navy and has been serving for the last 21 years.
He has cruised the around world’s oceans 6 times on 5 different aircraft carriers and always enjoys the local travel overseas on the fabulous train systems around the world.
