I'm 45+ years old, have 3 children and two grandkids. I never get enough time with any of them.
My interest in trains was fostered by my father who bought me my first HO train set. That expanded to a rather large layout in the family garage, but was lost when my parents divorced. After my own marriage I started in N scale but I currently don't have the room to set the layout up.
A friend introduced me to Trainz shortly after the release of UTC. I bought Trainz v1.3 within a couple of days and UTC less than a week later. My real interest in the sim is the nuts & bolts of Trainz, the inner workings. Creating and driving using interactive automation (scenarios) brings me the most fun in the game.
I cringe at what Auran does to us sometimes but have usually managed to work around their roadblocks.
