I'm a music and computer teacher working on my principalship to be principal of a school. As a music teacher, I play most instruments, but I consider the Bass and Drums my main instruments. I have a Bachelor of Music Education Degree, Master of Music Education, Master of Administration, and am putting in hours to my PH.D. in Educational Technology.

My mom and dad both worked for, and met at Santa Fe Railroad here in Fort Worth. I have been around trains all my life and spent most of my weekends at the ATSF 17th street yard with dad. I remember the engineers that I had a chance to switch in the yard with, and the train orders I'd hand up to the mainline freights as they would pass by.

When I was 2 years old, I got an HO scale train for Christmas and I"ve been hooked ever since. I'm an avid HO Scale modeler and have a layout in what USED to be a 2 car garage. I also have a few G scale and N scale trains. I've wanted a train simulation for years. I've even sent E-mails to various companies asking for a Train simulation. Finally "Train Simulator" was released and I was in heaven. I'd like to think it was my E-mail that started the project, but that would be too wishful!

I found TRAINZ on the Auran website and downloaded the demo in early 2002. When it finally was released, I bought the full package and have been hooked ever since.

My main modeling interest in TRAINZ has always been layouts. Some people make locos, buildings, and rolling stock, but I love creating layouts to run trains around and test ideas for my HO scale ideas. A main goal in all of my TRAINZ layouts has always been realism and smooth operations. If a layout is not believable and does not operate well, it is no fun. My goal is to be a top-notch layout creator for those who enjoy the highest level of realism and operations possible in the TRAINZ simulation.

It is my hope that when you download one of my layouts you will find it visually striking, as well as smooth running for operation pleasure. As always, any comments and suggestions are very welcome to help me create even better layouts. I hope you have as much fun operating the layouts as I did making them.
