ProtoLARS

Postby LLJ » January 09 2005

Hi

ProtoLARS is here.

It consists of 35 industry tracks, some help content and a manual.
It's important to read the manual, as it explains how to use ProtoLARS and how to configure a ProtoLARS industry.

Some new products are also needed (products pack4, products pack5 and the container packs)

Get them here: http://www.trainzproroutes.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=23501#23501

2005-02-23:
ProtoLARS Mega Pack uploaded. It replaces the ProtoLARS Basic pack.
Contains updated and added PL industry tracks.

2005-02-25:
Fixed bug in PL Papermill. Typo in the kuid-table.

2005-03-02:
Some more fixes and some new industries added.
The Mega Pack uses products from the updated Products Pack5, so get that aswell

2005-03-05:
Mega Pack 1.1
Some more adjustments (products added to industries).
Uses Products Pack5 rev 1.1

2005-03-06:
ProtoLARS Marker poles available again. Somehow got missing

Finally time for ProtoLARS Intermodal.

Special features:

Random loading order of containers.
Set PL Intermodal to produce several container types or trailers.
It will select products in random order, so it not will load only 20ft containers until out of them (if the car support other than 20ft that is).
Same thing for the trailers and Lego's 89ft flatcars.

Please note that You have to get some products from Download Station and some TPR (all are uploaded to DS, waiting approval).
The ones from TPR you find in this thread http://www.trainzproroutes.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2362

Hi.

You will need the trailercars and the trailers made by Lego* (can't remember his name right now) from DownloadStation.

Do a search on Lego* as username.

Hi. Have you read the ProtoLARS manual, available from the top of this thread?
It explains how to setup a ProtoLARS industry, as it works a bit different than ordinary industries.
Also, the PL Intermodal also uses the tank container products, in case you don't have that.

HTH

Hi. What link is not working?
When I click on the manual link, it works for me.

You need to be logged in to be able to download, but I guess you are, as you can post. I will check with our forum admin if you can describe the problem in more detail.

As a temporary fix, copy the shortcut, paste it into your address bar, and change the ".com" to ".org". That should work until someone can edit the post and update the link.

PL Autorack has arrived

Postby LLJ » July 21 2006

Hi.

I have made a new PL to support CNR's new Autoracks.
Now you can load them with visible cars.

The car product you need to download from Download Station.

Sorry folks.

I'm quite confused here. I downloaded all the files listed on this thread (up to and including the PL Creosote update).

Do I have to download anything else to make ProtoLARS work ? THere is a mass of stickly threads with Product packs and other stuff....do I need all those before I can run ProtoLARS ?

Also, I'm having problems navigating the Forums. I have just registered and received an e-mail from Trainzproroutes on my login and password. I login before browsing the forums and the status bar on top of this browser shows that I am have logged on. However, if I move into a new thread whilst browsing the forum the status bar shows I am no longer logged in. And eveytime I tried sending a message, the forum asks me to login again.

Can you calrify what I may be doing wrong ? Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Harry

Hi.

You might need to download some products, either from another thread here in the LARS section or from the Download Station.

It depends on what PL you intend to use.
