Montana Rail Link is an FRA Class 2 regional railroad with more than 900 miles of track serving 100 stations in the states of Montana, Idaho and Washington. MRL connects with the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway (BNSF) at Laurel and Helena - Montana, Spokane - Washington, the Montana Western Railway at Garrison - Montana and the Union Pacific Railroad at Sandpoint - Idaho.
TPR's representation of MRL spans 258 miles of trackage in Montana and takes approximately 4 to 5 hours to run end to end. MRL is perhaps the largest project to ever be brought to life in Trainz.
