You are responsible for throwing all switches.Instructions are provided at the beginning of the scenario. You will be given minimal feedback (switching moves made, speeding and bad couple alerts)while doing the actual switching. When you have finished the scenario and moved your train to the end of the Engine Storage spur your score will be given. Scoring is based on correct car setouts with deductions for incorrect setouts, speeding, bad couples and switching moves. A switching move is incurred upon the initial movement of the switcher and then each subsequent change of direction. The tracking of switching moves allows you to see improvement as you develop your switching skills. Coupling speed is 5 MPH and under. Speeding is set at yard speed (15 MPH). Use the "i" key to toggle the display speed between MPH/KPH. This is the first in a series of "switching challenges" for the Progressive Rail. It is a fairly easy, but fun, challenge. Future versions will become more difficult with several planned twists and turns to keep it interesting. We hope you enjoy this scenario.
